Applications Manager

Description

We are seeking an individual who is passionately interested in the field or has a strong background in Horticulture. The Applications Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the application and delivery of fertilization and chemical services to turf, trees, and shrubs to clients in keeping with the high standards of OEG. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Schedule the spray technicians weekly routes to ensure clients’ needs are met.
• Ensure routes are completed in a timely manner and within budget.  
• Train spray technicians in the proper & safe use of equipment and chemical mixing. 
• Ensure Spray Technicians have the tools, equipment and materials they need to complete assignments.  
• Coach and mentor Spray Technicians to maximize their potential and the crews’ efficiency.  
• Fill in for Spray Technicians as the need arises to ensure OEG meets client schedule expectations.  
• Communicate with customers about OEG services, their properties and address different concerns customers have with varying conditions.
• Identify opportunities for enhancement services and help grow the scope of the Applications Department business portfolio.  
• Retain clients year over year. 

Requirements

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

• 3+ years experience performing applications to turf, tree, and shrubs
• Supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work fast paced and produce quality results
• Be able to work independently
• Knowledge and staying up to date of MSDS and chemical uses
• Ability to communicate well in both written and verbal formats
• Must be service oriented to exceed customers' needs
• Identify different pest issues and apply applicable chemicals
• Must have the ability to adapt to change quickly
• Must be able to deal with various problems simultaneously and prioritize solutions
• Drivers License Required
• RT Certification
• 3A & 3B preferred
