The Team:

Working within the People and Culture department, the Team Leader will work alongside the Human Resource Advisor and Recruitment team to provide training, recruitment skills and knowledge and liaise with internal and external stakeholders of the Department of Health. An exciting opportunity to advance your experience within the department.

The Role:

The Team Leader has immediate oversight of the appropriate management of vacancies and employment practices through the delivery of a proactive, prompt and efficient client-focussed service. The role provides recruitment and employment practice and process related expertise, advice and assistance in accordance with relevant legislation and Agency policy.

The role focuses on providing a flexible approach and offering innovative solutions to complex employment and recruitment practice and process-related issues within established frameworks and supports capacity building in these areas by guiding and mentoring hiring managers and Recruitment Officers.

Details of appointment:

Permanent, full time, day worker, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible 

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $79,529 to 91,517 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
