Description:

Education 

Minimum: High School diploma or GED.  

Preferred: Phlebotomy Training or Phlebotomy Technical School or Associates Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

. 

Credentials/Licensure 

Minimum: Valid Driver’s License 

Preferred: Any nationally recognized certification for Phlebotomy 

 

Related Experience 

Minimum: None 

Preferred: Up to 6 months of phlebotomy experience in a healthcare provider environment 

 

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

Minimum: Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills. Interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers. The ability to interpret and meet customer needs.  Accuracy, attention to detail, and time management skills. 

Preferred: Working knowledge of medical terminology
