JOB OVERVIEW:

The Information Security Manager position represents a key pillar in safeguarding digital assets, protecting sensitive data, and ensuring ongoing stability and trustworthiness of company networks and systems and is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive security strategies and protocols to lead and manage the organization's cybersecurity operations.

 

LOCATION: Hybrid - Candidates must be willing & able to work 3 days a week preferably on 1 of our following offices: Independence OH, Atlanta GA, Boca Raton FL, or Dallas TX.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

This role is critical in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, incident response, and team leadership and should possess a strategic mindset combined with technical expertise to effectively guide our team towards maintaining a robust security posture while driving forward best practices to ensure the security of sensitive data and digital assets. Requires a proactive individual who can effectively coordinate with other information technology teams and manage responses to security incidents. Works closely with diverse internal departments including infrastructure teams, application development, compliance stakeholders, and management to ensure security policies and procedures are effectively implemented and maintained while working collaboratively across these teams, advocating sound security practices, and embedding stringent cybersecurity standards throughout operational processes. Responsible for developing and maintaining incident response plans, conducting regular security assessments, and ensuring compliance aligned with industry standards and regulations.

 The role involves continuous monitoring of security threats, analyzing security data, assessing current security measures, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing measures to mitigate risks by relying on data-driven analysis. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and setting priorities for addressing security vulnerabilities. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of making critical decisions under pressure while handling stressful situations calmly and effectively. The ability to stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends is crucial in proactively addressing potential risks and ensuring the organization's preparedness. Key success factors include the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and stay current with emerging security technologies and threats. Candidates are expected to possess strong experience in cybersecurity operations, background knowledge in security architecture, familiarity with industry frameworks, proven expertise in technology platforms, and substantial experience guiding and developing teams as a collaborative leader dedicated to offering mentorship, coaching, and professional guidance.
