The Head of Advanced Cell Model business unit develops and executes a compelling strategy (incl. M&A) driving business success.
What You’ll Lead and Accomplish
- Lead the overall direction, strategy, and performance of the Business Unit in line with corporate strategy, and will approve policies and procedures for the Business Unit that contribute to the overall corporate vision and plan
- Develop strategic targets, transform them into tactics, and communicate them to relevant stakeholders
- Set, and monitor the performance of the Business Unit against standards and targets in areas such as manufacturing and administration efficiency, cost control, sales revenue, legal compliance, and human resource management
- Ensure the investment in organizational capabilities to meet current and emerging business needs
- Coordinate with other BU Heads and other members of the LPS LT, integrating strategic objectives and initiatives for organizational growth and peers in the BPS Division.
- Lead, guide, evaluate, and develop a team of senior managers to ensure that the Business Unit achieves its business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws
- Create strategy, identify potential target companies, select and close deals in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders to position the Business Area
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in the life sciences industry across functions such as business development, R&D, and operations
- 10+ years in senior executive roles with full P&L responsibility
- Proven track record of scaling businesses and delivering sustained revenue growth
- Strong M&A acumen and experience leading post-acquisition integration
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic thinker with a bias for execution and results
- Passion for innovation, transformation, and building high-impact teams
Potential for up to 70% travel.
