TITLE: SAW OPERATOR-3rd Shift
REPORTS TO: Area Coordinator Trainee
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
Effectively promotes teamwork in the department. Coordinates with production management in regard to daily production goals, efficiency, cleanliness, safety, and training of co-workers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND DAILY TASKS
The saw is one that you feed and make adjustments based on requested dimensions. A catcher checks quality and the operator feeds the machine. The candidate will be cross trained for both
Operates, sets up, performs maintenance of saw assigned.
Inspect finished products for quality.
Production reporting is clean, accurate, and legible.
Understands and observes all safety policies and procedures.
Interprets job orders assigned.
Operates equipment related to these activities and trains workers in equipment operation.
Reports work progress to Production Management.
Coordinates with general laborers.
Performs other duties as required by management.
COMPETENCIES
Advanced knowledge of the operation of all machinery and equipment used within primary job duty.
Maintains certification to operate equipment if so required.
