Job Description

As a Security Officer - Automotive Patrol Driver Overnights in Lebanon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist employees and visitors with clear, professional communication and customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid drivers license meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, service areas, parking lots, and perimeter routes; note unusual conditions and report per site policy.
• Monitor access points and visitor traffic; verify identification and/or credentials where required and direct employees, vendors, and guests to the appropriate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken using required reports and/or incident logs.
• Assist with access control and property checks such as doors, gates, lighting, and key areas; help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence and communicating concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
