About the Team
The Developer Technology team at Pico is dedicated to building the foundational technologies that enable immersive XR experiences. Our team is responsible for developing and optimizing XR technologies across the software stack, including runtime software, developer SDKs, and game engines. By empowering our developers, we help create the most advanced XR applications. We are currently seeking developers with prowess to Open Standards to join our rapidly expanding team. The position offers significant opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities:
- Develop core modules for the XR rendering engine.
- Responsible for engine memory and performance optimization.
- Cross-functional team collaborations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Experienced in rendering engine programming.
- Proficient with 3D math, including linear algebra / vector math.
- Thorough understanding of one or more graphics APIs such as Vulkan, OpenGL, Metal, or Direct3D.
- Strong C++ programming skills.
- Strong in software system design.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with AR/VR application development.
- Comprehensive understanding of modern mobile graphics pipelines.
- Game Engine source code development experience, unity, unreal or proprietary engine.
- Experience with Data oriented design architectures like Entity Component systems.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $194000 - $355000 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
