Task requirements Domestic Considerations: Some travel and overnight duty may be required but only to enable the completion of relevant courses.Position Role: SO3 TD is responsible ensuring that DCBRNC training is DSAT compliant and subject to assurance and review. Provide advice on training design matters within DCBRNC and across the C-CBRN Defence community.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the civilian and military staff of the Defence CBRN Centre Training Design department.
2. Support and develop the DCBRNC Trg Quality Manual (TQM) providing training assurance in accordance with the DSAT Quality Standard.
3. Develop DSAT compliant Enhanced Generalist and Specialist CBRN land focussed courses for the Defence CBRN community.
4. Manage the development, implementation and first party validation of all DCBRNC course documentation annually, ensuring DSAT compliance.
5. Proactively manage internal DCBRNC course review and trend analysis to enhance course delivery.
6. Provide SME advice and consultancy on all DSAT issues, engaging with external agencies involved in the design or development of Enhanced Generalist or Specialist C-CBRN training, or wider training within the RSME Group.
7. Identify and manage the introduction of innovative training techniques and equipment.
8. Deputise for the SO2 Trg Design in their absence. Essential competencies Experience of working in a training environment. Desirable competencies a. DCTS First Party Audit.
b. DCTS Defence Training Managers Course. c. DCTS Training Design Course.
d. DCTS Introduction to Learning Technologies.
e. DCTS Defence Training Supervisor (formerly DIAD/DIME).
f. Defence Science Course or DCBRNC Defence Advisors’ Course.
