Position: Storekeeper (Forklift Operator)

Summary:

 

PACCAR WINCH INC is a wholly owned subsidiary of PACCAR, a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. PACCAR WINCH INC manufactures high quality industrial winches, hoists and drives for the oil/gas, construction, utility and specialty markets.  PACCAR is a Fortune 500 company established in 1905.  Our business is growing and we are seeking an experienced Store Keeper.  This position is located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and the schedule is Monday-Friday 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM, which can vary upon production demand. Occasional overtime is also available. The salary range is $17.66 to 22.65 hourly. Our facility is located at 1204 West 20th Street Okmulgee, OK 74447.  Benefits include: 401K with 5% matching, medical insurance, dental, vision and company paid life insurance.  Company provided disability coverage as well as 12 paid holidays and paid vacation.  PACCAR Winch does require applicants to complete a background check, drug test, and pre-employment physical as a condition of employment. Objective:

 

  • Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including fulfilling part orders, keeping warehouse stocked, and inventorying. Maintain clean work area.

     

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

 

  • Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.

     

  • Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks or flatbeds.

     

  • Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.

     

  • Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.

     

  • Checking loads are secure.

     

  • Stacking empty pallets.

     

  • Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and safety check sheets.

     

  • Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.

     

  • Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards.

     

    Qualifications:

     

  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent.

     

  • Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required.

 

  • High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.

 

  • Forklift certification per OSHA standards.

 

  • Must be able to operate Data Collection devices accurately & efficiently within 30 days of beginning in classification.

 

  • Must be able to read and follow written work instruction.

 

  • Must be willing to train in and perform multiple tasks as work load requires.

 

  • Must have the ability, knowledge and confidence to consistently meet or exceed the expected productivity standards for all work performed.

Technical Skills:

  • Must be capable of being certified to operate a Forklift efficiently and safely.

 

  • Basic computer skills required for the completion of time cards and production information as necessary in a computerized production management system. Must actively demonstrate good housekeeping practices in the work area as well as the entire facility.

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

PACCAR Winch is a manufacturer of industrial winches.  Employee is working around heavy machinery.  Employees must be able to operate safely in a busy industrial environment.  Additional physical requirements include standing, walking, bending 90% of the time.  Ability to squat, kneel on both knees, bend forward at the waist and hold hands above head.
