About the role

Purpose of Position

The Director, Inside Sales will lead inside sales and directly manage 15-18 reports consisting of Sales Consultants, Sr. Sales Consultants, and the Manager, Inside Sales. This individual will work closely with the VP of  Business Development and senior leadership to support the achievement of NetJets’ overall sales and financial goals.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for execution and achievement of sales goals set forth by Sales Management, including quotas and processes involving sales improvement and generating revenue (approximately 25% of new revenue generated by NJ Sales).
  • Develop and execute new business strategies to support goal achievement.
  • Define applicable metrics and analytics for continuous improvement.
  • Understand current market trends and provide team and senior leadership with actionable insights.
  • Identify and develop targeted sales campaigns to be executed and measured in partnership with the Inside Sales Manager. 
  • Lead Inside Sales’ recruiting strategy and partnerships to support an A-player talent pipeline.
  • Champion CRM (SalesForce) initiatives and adoption for optimum team output and effectiveness.
  • Coach Sales Consultants on sales strategy, business acumen, product, and results.
  • Lead Learning and Development program for Inside Sales and prepare sales team for success in future roles.
  • Foster an energetic, competitive sales culture that actively lives out NetJets’ Core Competencies and supports the 20/20 Flight Plan.

Education

Bachelor's in Sales or Marketing

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to constantly changing situations.
  • Willingness to travel to events and to support remote teams up to 15% of the time.
  • Must be able to understand and clearly communicate varying financial and operational aspects of fractional ownership and position NetJets as the program of choice to company personnel and potential prospects.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire direct reports to achieve their goals and execute strategic vision.
  • Knowledge of target market and research tools for prospecting.
  • Must be proficient with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
