IT Technical Manager - Houston, TX

Entity/Department: Maverick Tube Corporation
Location: Houston, TX

MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:

Manage, Troubleshoot, and deploy all network components including Wireless, Telephony, and Network (LAN and WAN) according to project’s timelines.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve problems for routing protocols including BGP,OSPF, EIGRP, DMVPN and Voice over IP SIP.
CCNA Voice certified to deploy and maintain Voice over IP technologies such as CUCM ,Unity, UCCX call center, CME, and InformaCast.
Troubleshoot issues with analog POTS lines and T1 PRI lines.
Deployment of cisco voice gateways and coordinate with PSTN providers and customer for site migrations.
Deploy and configure network equipment for new customers at their sites.
Network monitoring using tools Solarwinds and Traverse to proactively respond to emergencies or non-emergency cases from customer and assure maximum network uptime.
Conduct wireless site surveys to understand user connectivity issues or wireless coverage limitations and deliver reports / analysis with feasible solutions.
Manage wireless solutions for customers and respond in timely manner to user requests.
Manage, deploy, and maintain network cloud solution such as Cisco Meraki.
ntegrate cloud technologies with current customer networks assuring production continuity and smooth transitions.
Manage requests and tickets with third party service providers to accomplish customer uptime SLAs.
Collaborate with Project managers and field service teams on new sites migrations and installations.
On call 24/7 one week per month.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Associates or foreign equivalent in Network Specialization or Cybersecurity
One (1) year of experience in each of the following: design, operation, and troubleshooting of complex IP networks based on Cisco technology including dynamic routing protocols, SD-WAN technologies, IPSEC tunnel configuration, Firewall, Campus LAN technologies; analog telephony solutions and Voice Over IP including SIP Trunks, Voice Gateways, Interactive Voice Response, Fax; Cisco Controller based on WiFi technologies; design of physical network cabling solutions; and contractor management.
Special Requirement: CCNA Wireless certification and CCNA Voice certification. Expired certifications are accepted.
