Sr Accounting Analyst

Description

Purpose of this Job: 

This job is responsible for supporting the accounting department, preferably capable in written and spoken Mandarin.

Principle Duties/Essential Functions: 

• Cash flow planning and reporting
• Balance Sheet reconciliation
• Participate in month-end close process
• Translation

Other Tasks/Responsibilities:

· Ad hoc analysis, reporting, projects as required

· Serve as backup to all other essential accounting functions, AR, AP, Billing, Treasury 

• Experience with an automated accounting      system in a manufacturing environment

· Strong mathematical and analytical skills for monitoring accounting records and resolving accounting problems

· Software: 

o IQMS

o SAP 

o Excel expert, including writing macros and report development

o Hyperion experience, helpful

Licenses or Certifications:

· N/A

Physical Demands:

• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Position requires lengthy period of time sitting, typing and looking at computer monitor
• Must have ability to work under pressure and be able to meet deadlines
• High degree of mental and visual effort required

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

· PPE may be required based on specific projects.

Work Environment/Hours:

· Primary work area is located in an office setting.

· Must work normal office hours plus provide support on evenings and weekend (as needed)

Primary Work Location:

· Wylie, TX

Travel Requirements:

· 5% travel required

Requirements

 Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:· Five plus years of general accounting experience 

 Languages:

· Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
