Traveling Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Floater – New York

Cordial Health is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant to serve as a part-time, in-person psychiatric provider floater throughout New York State .

This position is ideal for an adaptable and independent clinician who enjoys variety, can quickly build relationships with interdisciplinary teams and is comfortable traveling to different coverage locations.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide in-person psychiatric coverage at assigned New York locations
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, consultations and follow-up visits
• Diagnose and manage psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Prescribe, monitor and adjust psychotropic medications
• Evaluate treatment response, medication effectiveness and side effects
• Adapt quickly to different clinical environments and workflows
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, social workers and families
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning
• Provide compassionate, trauma-informed and resident-centered care
• Maintain accurate, timely and compliant clinical documentation
