Role Overview

As a Product Manager, Risk Adjustment Analytics Products, you will contribute to the strategy and execution of analytics capabilities that power Datavant’s risk adjustment solutions. You’ll drive the development of robust, scalable, and actionable analytics that improve coding outcomes, measure product impact, and support value-based client delivery across Medicare Advantage, ACA, and Medicaid programs.

The ideal candidate combines deep healthcare analytics expertise with strong product management skills, and thrives at the intersection of product, data science, engineering, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics Product Strategy

  • Define and own the product vision for risk adjustment analytics across retrospective and prospective use cases.
  • Identify opportunities to improve coding accuracy, efficiency, and transparency through advanced reporting, dashboards, and analytics features.
  • Stay informed on industry benchmarks, regulatory needs, and customer pain points to drive a differentiated analytics roadmap.

Execution & Delivery

  • Translate user and business needs into detailed product requirements, working closely with Engineering, Data, and Clinical stakeholders.
  • Lead product development cycles from ideation to release, ensuring delivery of high-impact analytics products and capabilities.
  • Prioritize development initiatives using criteria such as business impact, client value, and strategic alignment.
  • Define and monitor KPIs such as suspecting accuracy, chart throughput, RAF impact, data latency, coding quality metrics, and client engagement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with risk adjustment product leaders to align analytics features with core platform needs and workflows.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Clinical, Engineering, and Customer Success) to ensure that analytics deliver real-time visibility and decision support.
  • Collaborate with clients and Customer Success to translate feedback into product improvements and insights.

Quality, Compliance, and Scalability

  • Ensure analytics products support audit defensibility, regulatory compliance, and documentation traceability.
  • Design data pipelines and dashboards with scalability and configurability in mind, enabling broad client usability and customization.
  • Partner with Security and Compliance teams to uphold data privacy and HITRUST standards.

Business & Strategic Impact

  • Increased visibility into coding performance and financial impact
  • Contribution of analytics products to client satisfaction and renewal
  • Alignment of analytics insights with operational KPIs and regulatory needs

Product Execution

  • Timeliness of feature delivery and roadmap execution
  • Adoption of analytics dashboards and features across customer base

Reduction in manual reporting or ad hoc analytics requests

Client Experience

  • Client feedback on analytics usability and value
  • Number of support issues or custom requests related to analytics gaps
  • Engagement and usage metrics from self-service tools or dashboards

About You

  • Experience: 5+ years in product management, healthcare analytics, or data product roles, ideally within risk adjustment or value-based care. Must possess strong knowledge of product development practices and SDLC.
