Resource Innovations is seeking a Senior Manager to join our growing team in Northern California. As a Senior Manager and Residential Equity Section Lead with Resource Innovations, you will be primarily responsible for leading the management of a portfolio of large residential equity energy efficiency programs to ensure we meet and exceed client expectations. This includes leading a team of professionals; serving as the main point of contact for the utility client, tracking and ensuring key performance indicators and program expectations are met; collaboratively working with a subcontractor; identifying and implementing program efficiencies; and working cross collaboratively with internal teams. This highly visible position will require strong portfolio management and people skills to drive program objectives and initiatives forward.

Duties and Responsibilities
Residential Equity Section Leadership
- Oversee all aspects of program operations, including budgeting, staffing, data management, and performance monitoring.
- Manage and motivate a team of program staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community-based organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with securing funding and resources to support the program's activities.
- Advocate for policies and initiatives that promote energy efficiency and affordability for low-income Californians.
- Track and analyze program data to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate program results to stakeholders, including funders, policymakers, and the public.
- Research new energy efficiency technologies and applications to improve and expand energy efficiency offerings.
- Manages start-up projects that will be handed off to new team members in the future.
Program Management
- Analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions to achieve program goals.
- Identifies opportunities to improve program tools and processes, leads process optimization and implementation.
- Prepares weekly and monthly reports for internal and external purposes, ensuring compliance with terms of contract, relevance of content, and professional presentation.
- Leads problem resolution activities for escalated customer and/or installation contractor issues, including working with colleagues and subcontractors to resolve issues or prepping materials to brief senior leadership if their attention is needed
- Forecasts spending (staff time and direct costs) and revenues for assigned programs and portfolios.
- Participates in program leadership team meetings, supports cross-functional knowledge sharing.
- Coordinates with internal support teams and cross functional teams including Operations, Finance, IT, Engineering, and Marketing.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as energy, environmental science, public policy, or business administration.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, preferably in the energy efficiency or sustainability sector.
- Previous leadership and management experience with a demonstrated ability to manage budgets, staff, and data effectively.
- Experience tracking budgets and/or project schedules.
- Strong understanding of California's energy efficiency policies and programs.
- Strong analytical capabilities and communication skills, ideally via Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
