What we want  

The Project Specialist III - Nursing provides advanced project management support for the OB Emergency Simulation project to help deliver hands-on training to interdisciplinary teams in hospitals without OB services. Supports staff training, promotes team-based care, and reinforces best practices in obstetric emergency response.

Salary: Will be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience.

Schedule: Work beyond normal business hours and/or work on weekends when needed.

Qualifications

Required Education

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)  

  • Two years of related experience in health simulation project coordination or management

Required Licenses and Certifications

  • Active and unencumbered RN license in Texas

  • Core RNC

  • NRP certified                                                                                

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s prepared registered nurse with focus in nursing education  

  • Three years of related clinical experience in maternal health

  • Three years of related experience with clinical simulation

  • Experience in curriculum development or educational program planning  

  • Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator with maternal child experience

  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (NCC or AWHONN) 

  • RNC-OB certified 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Knowledge of evidence-based maternal care practices (prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care).
