About the role

Job Description

Our Bid Management team works hand in hand with Sales & Commercial colleagues and Solutions Consultants and many other stakeholders to respond with winning proposals. Our team will also look after our bid platform and library to ensure our content is up-to-date and fit for purpose. 

What you will be doing:

This role will be responsible to produce professionally written proposals that clearly articulate our Worldpay value proposition. Your responses should follow our tone of voice, copy guidelines, and brand, while being clearly tailored for our prospective and existing clients.

As a member of the team, you will work on complex and strategic RFPs that demand the ability to work under pressure, flexibly and handling demanding deadlines.

The role also presents the opportunity to manage and take part in projects that seek to improve our processes and procedures.

 

What you bring:

·         You possess a professional level of written and spoken English with excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in organizations, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors.

·         You are familiar with the ways large corporate tenders are usually presented, often made of multiple, complex compliance requirements.

·         You can demonstrate at least three years' experience in developing successful proposals for corporate and/or public sector clients.

·         You are a highly determined and self-motivated individual, used to engaging teams towards deliverables, as you will be coordinating support from start to submission of the bid.

·         You should be able to think strategically about Worldpay, our mission and values, products, and roadmap, so you can translate these into your proposals and show why Worldpay is the best partner for payments.

·         You must have dynamic interpersonal skills and be adept at engaging with stakeholders. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for building and maintaining successful relationships with the teams they’ll be working with.

·         A proactive and can-do attitude at all times. We’re looking for someone who will contribute to a positive team culture where trust, respect and collaboration are core elements. 

·         Being your own Chief Learning Officer. We're looking for self-starters, who are passionate about learning and development and can advocate for their career.

·         Industry background is highly desirable from the successful candidate, enabling you to develop win themes and discriminators for Financial Services - Payments proposals.

·         Proficiency in problem-solving and time management skills, managing multiple deadlines.

·         Willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment, while being able to start adding value to the team in a short space of time.

Bonus if you have:

·         Fluency in other languages than English.

·         Worked with QVidian or another bid platform.

·         APMP or other relevant bid project management qualification.

·         Copy writing diploma or certificate.

·         Project Management experience.
