The Control Management Tooling Transformation team is seeking an Associate Product Owner to work on new applications to drive toward the future of the Control Management technology ecosystem. As a Tooling Transformation Product Associate within the Controls Room Organization, you will be instrumental in transforming the Control Management Organization by implementing key elements of change through innovative technology, frameworks, and processes. Your role in supporting the product team will involve collaborating with various business and function representatives and our technology partners to execute on our tooling transformation roadmap. Job responsibilities
- Translate higher level strategy and requirements from internal stakeholders into actionable tasks for the Agile development teams
- Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams; ensure that requirements are clear and the vision is aligned with business objectives
- Be responsible for clearly defining user stories with detailed acceptance criteria and prioritizing backlog
- Develop an in-depth understanding of risk and control program strategies and apply this knowledge to improve your product, determine solutions, and resolve issues
- Own risk identification, mitigation strategies, impact analysis, resolution, and communications to stakeholders
- Be responsible for SIT/Development and UAT testing; Define use cases and approaches for Technology and stakeholder testing in clear and easily understood formats
- Partner with the UAT teams to ensure testing scope, scripts, and timelines are established and reported accurately on status reports
- Manage or participate in multiple project work-streams concurrently
- Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints
- Participate in sprint showcases to review new features and in sprint retrospectives to ensure the team is improving with each sprint
- Take initiative and execute independently; effectively prioritize business problems based on urgency and relevancy
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in writing business requirements as a Product Owner / Business Analyst
- Knowledge of the Agile processes and principles
- Experience in one or more product development roles, such as development, design, user experience and quality assurance
- Expertise in writing user stories with acceptance criteria: JIRA
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
- Flexible and adaptive; demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment
- Experiencing working in both team and independent environments
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Advanced skills for MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
