IT Manager

Job Summary:

Nelson-Jameson is seeking an IT manager, that will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company's technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting business operations and enabling the company to achieve its strategic goals. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development, implementation, and use of technology throughout the company, working closely with staff to assess and address user and business needs.
• Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations, managing IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance.
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures to ensure data security and integrity.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner. - Manage IT projects to ensure system availability, reliability, and scalability. - Manage annual IT budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
• Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements.
• Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, and information security and control structures.
• Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.
• Providing clear and inspirational leadership to team members, setting a positive example in terms of work ethic, attitude, and professionalism.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Outstanding communication abilities.
• Problem-solving attitude.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in information technology.

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000
