Lead Inclusive Lending initiatives by developing and executing strategies to drive CRA and Fair Lending goals through various areas of community outreach opportunities to promote fair and equitable access to credit for all communities. This critical engagement role is responsible for establishing and leveraging community relationships that are aligned with Truist Purpose, Mission and Values and acting as conduit/liaison between the community, Real Estate Lending Originations and other partners within Truist that champion our PMV.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Lead and develop outreach strategies with local churches, non-profits, government offices and other community organizations focused on homeownership, financial education, and community development.
2. Build and maintain partnerships with internal Bank Teams to integrate mortgage services across the Bank’s product offerings.
3. Lead, develop and execute strategies to promote a faith-based initiative.
4. Lead and organize large scale community events including faith-based initiatives.
5. Train lending team as appropriate on leveraging the tools to meet regulatory requirements and the importance of equitable lending.
6. Attend community events and forums to disseminate information and gather feedback on learning experiences.
7. Lead and develop a marketing and outreach plan for community events and workshops through areas such as faith-based seminars; homeownership fairs; financial literacy workshops. Localized advertising with bulletins, newsletters, and digital marketing if available.
8. Utilize data to identify target markets with high concentration of emerging-majority, unbanked or underbanked communities to drive effective outreach based on the needs of the community.
9. Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies as required.
10. Provide guidance and support to Community Outreach and Engagement Mangers.
11. Evaluate and monitor ROIs associated with funding associated with outreach events.
12. Monitor and adjust outreach efforts accordingly.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in community development, business or marketing, or equivalent experience
2. 5+ year experience in community outreach, mortgage services or related field.
3. Proven strategic client acquisition experience and established partnerships in underserved communities
4. Strong understanding of mortgage products and the home-buying process.
5. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project management skills
6. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; ability to influence
