Background

The Human Resources Department (HRD), in the International Monetary Fund (IMF), hereafter referred to as the ‘Fund’, has undergone a transformation to modernize HR processes. The Fund implemented Workday in November 2020 as the core HR platform to manage HCM Core, Recruitment, Core Compensation, Talent and Performance, Learning, and Workforce Planning.  The Fund still maintains PeopleSoft for the modules that have not yet been implemented in Workday, namely, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Absence and Payroll.  

​Since the initial implementation, the Cloud Support Team and Reporting has received and deployed a large volume of complex reports and enhancement requests to satisfy the ongoing business requests.  

Under the supervision of the Unit Chief, and in close collaboration with the Workday team lead, functional administrators in HRD, as well as other key stakeholders and subject matter experts, the Projects Officer will work with the Cloud Support team, driving forward opportunities for analytics, understanding business requirements from across the IMF and translating them into new Workday enhancements where this is required. The Projects Officer is responsible for ensuring that Workday configuration deliveries are made on-time and in full, to client satisfaction, and for ensuring that the rules of governance are upheld.

Duration

ITD would like to engage the contractual on a Short-Term Contractual (STC) assignment starting on September 2nd, 2025, and through April 30th, 2026 (for up to a total of 90 working days).

Responsibilities:

• System Configuration: Configure and maintain the HCM Core and reports within Workday, ensuring they meet organizational needs and best practices.
• Report Development: Create and customize reports and dashboards specific to HCM and talent management, utilizing Workday's reporting tools to provide insights and analytics.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of configurations, integrations, and reports to ensure functionality and accuracy, addressing any discrepancies or issues.
• User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on HCM Core and reporting, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving user inquiries.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of configurations, and processes to support knowledge transfer and compliance.
• Compliance and Data Governance: Ensure that all HCM Core and reporting processes comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies, focusing on data security and privacy.
• Enhancements and Upgrades: Participate in system upgrades and enhancements, assessing new features and functionalities in Workday to improve HCM processes and reporting functionalities.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with functional administrators, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that Workday solutions align with business needs.
• Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve issues related to HCM Core and Reporting functionalities, collaborating with Workday support when necessary.

STC Assignment Logistics

The contractual is expected to work remotely from Spain for this contract and her availability during core IMF HQ EDT Working hours as coordinated with the Unit Chief.
