Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Missile Engineer to join our team! In this role you will serve as missile hardware senior engineer on multiple components in the Missile Project office as assigned by the Missile Chief Engineer. 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide technical expertise on some portions of appropriate missile components

• The positions will interface with senior engineers in the technical review of emerging THAAD Missile design updates in support of both obsolescence and/or performance driven upgrades as required.

• Lead the team and assign tasking to ensure review of test plans, requirements, and evaluation of component/interceptor performance related to updates and design changes. 

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Master's degree in STEM and 12+ years of relevant experience

• Active Secret clearance required

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience should include portions of design, development, testing, manufacturing, and sustainment. Detailed knowledge of computer operations, IR technology, algorithms, circuitry, or simulations are desired. Detailed design and manufacturing of high reliability missile components qualified to demanding environments are a plus.
• Experience applying engineering & DOD acquisition process, policies, procedures, and practices including entrance and exit criteria evaluation prior to formal design reviews.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
