Job Description:

What You’ll Do

Responsible for understanding acquisition campaign management procedures for various Discover portfolios like Card, Personal Loans, Student Loans, etc., and implementation and maintenance of acquisition campaigns for these portfolios at different vendors. Partners with Strategy/Modeling/Technology/Operations/Marketing teams to champion their projects with the vendors ensuring data quality, accuracy and timeliness. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You’ll Do It

  • Manage new initiative projects independently, with minimal supervision, throughout the project life cycle by collaborating with external and internal business partners.
  • Collaborate with Discover business partners to understand business requirements, document them for implementation at vendors and manage successful implementation of the projects.
  • Collaborate with business partners to audit project implementations, campaign management reports and ensure 100% accurate weekly campaign execution.
  • Leverage acquisition campaign data and other internal data to conduct independent analysis; create dashboards and reports to present results of analysis to management.
  • Explore and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and identify new avenues to enhance team productivity.
  • Analyze credit report data relating to acquisition related customer complaints across Discover portfolios and work with vendors to resolve/remediate complaints.

Qualifications You’ll Need

The Basics

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration & Management, Finance, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or related
  • 3+ years of experience in Project management, credit industry, credit bureau data, vendor management or related
  • In lieu of a degree, 7+ years of experience in Project management, credit industry, credit bureau data, vendor management or related

Physical & Cognitive Requirements

  • Primarily remain in a stationary position.
  • No required movement about the work environment to complete the major responsibilities of the job.
  • Primarily performed indoors in an office setting.
  • Ability to operate office equipment such as but not limited to computer, telephone, printer, and calculator.
  • Ability to communicate verbally.; Ability to communicate in written form.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration & Management, Finance, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or related
  • Credit bureau experience
  • Excellent communicator

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $77,500.00 to $131,500.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
