About the role...
We are looking for a Sr. People Analyst to join our growing People Analytics organization. This role reports to the Director, People Analytics & Reporting. Your primary focus will be partnering with the Talent Acquisition Team on hiring-related metrics and insights. You will also have the opportunity to work on projects across the full employee lifecycle such as onboarding, engagement, diversity & inclusion, and retention. In this role you can expect to...
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team to define metrics, develop a suite of dashboards, create quarterly executive-level reports, and surface insights used to improve hiring efficiency and effectiveness, enhance candidate and stakeholder experience, and drive TA team accountability.
- Contribute to projects such as measuring progress on DE&I initiatives and analysis of onboarding program effectiveness
- Partner with the People Leadership Team to identify key insights, metrics, trends, and analysis that shape HashiCorp's people strategy
- Leverage systems such as Greenhouse, Workday, Culture Amp, Snowflake, and Tableau to deliver reporting and analytics
- Evolve our processes to improve scalability and automation
- Maintain strong data integrity and accuracy and ensure users understand the “why” behind the importance of data integrity and downstream impacts
- Communicate analytical, survey, or research results to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Share your data expertise and techniques with teammates to cultivate a data-driven culture
You may be a good fit for our team if you have...
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 6+ years of professional experience, 3+ years in an analytical role
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with a data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Google Data Studio)
- Experience with or willingness to learn SQL. Experience with python or R are a plus.
- Experience with an ATS (e.g., Greenhouse) and an HRIS (e.g., Workday)
- Ability to balance being detail-oriented with seeing the big picture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with cross-functional stakeholders
