Description
Cedar Crest College seeks an experienced CRNA educator to assist with the daily operations of the Doctorate of Nursing in Anesthesia program. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, motivated leader who will also teach within the program.
Responsibilities include related duties such as college committee work, School of Nursing and departmental duties, and continuing professional development and scholarship in accordance with The Boyer Model of Scholarship. Faculty positions provide one day per week clinical release time, allowing the educator to maintain clinical competency in their practice area.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily operations of the Doctorate of Nursing in Anesthesia program.
- Ensure compliance with the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia educational programs and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
- Teach in the nurse anesthesia program.
- Assist with program and curriculum development.
- Advise students.
- Engage in college committee work and School of Nursing departmental duties.
- Participate in continuing professional development.
- Support the Director of the Nurse Anesthesia DNP Program in managing the program's operations by leading curriculum review and revision, overseeing student recruitment, enrollment, matriculation, and graduation, advising, and overseeing program evaluation.
- Manage recruitment and registration process in coordination with the program director, Associate Director of Enrollment, and School of Adult and Graduate Education (SAGE) office.
- Support accreditation activities by coordinating an ongoing review process to assess program outcomes.
- Assist in developing, supervising, and coordinating course curriculum and NAP faculty workload.
- Manage student performance and retention processes.
- Develop and implement a tactical plan in coordination with college personnel.
- Participate in program development and other College services.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Earned doctoral degree
- Active certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Demonstrated skills in nurse anesthesia education and clinical practice
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience
- Graduate preparation in basic and clinical sciences relevant to nurse anesthesia practice
- Prior classroom teaching experie
