Medical Advisor - Rare Endocrine Disorders

The Position
As Medical Advisor you will be part of our Clinical, Medical and Regulatory (CMR) Department, and you will be responsible for building a structured plan of involvement of KOLs, within the territory of Italy (with residence preferably in Lazio, Lombardia, Emilia Romagna), providing medical training to all relevant stakeholders in Rare Endocrine Disorders therapeutic area.
Furthermore you will:
- Involve KOLs in a peer-to-peer scientific dialogue through face-to-face/digital interactions.
- Identify educational gaps and develop activities aimed at ensuring and strengthening scientific knowledge between KOLs/HCPs.
- Ensure adequate and timely up-to-date knowledge and awareness among internal stakeholders on the interpretation and communication of relevant scientific data.
- Collect and discuss proposals for independent studies (ISS, NIS) in the assigned area.
- Provide input and support to the Clinical Operations Team and RWE Manager in CMR, in the selection of investigational sites for Novo Nordisk national and international clinical trial and collaborate in evaluating the feasibility for the studies themselves, managing potential problems related to their implementation and conduct.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this role you hold a relevant academic background in Medicine or Life Sciences, and preferably have several years of similar experience in pharmaceutical industry. You have excellent communication, coupled with strong problem-solving and proactive attitude.
In addition you have:
• Work experience preferably in rare disease
• Availability to frequent travelling and participation in scientific events
• Stakeholder management and cross functional collaboration
• Fluent English written and spoken

The rare diseases department manages marketing and sales activities relating to the following pathologies: haemophilia, growth disorders and hormone replacement therapy.
