Essential Duties and Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide general resident and facility assistance to include:

  • Assist with general facility care and cleanliness
  • Assist with room service, packages and other deliveries
  • Perform laundry and housekeeping service for facility and resident needs
  • Assist with storage requests, move-ins and other items for residents
  • Assist with functions, catered events and activities set-up
  • Valet parking and walk-in/walk-out service
  • Daily checks on resident safety and welfare
  • Other individual and group resident assistance as required
  • Respond to calls for emergency and alarms as necessary
  • Monitor pager and computer for resident emergencies, fire alarms and door alarms
  • Take appropriate steps to ensure health, safety and welfare of residents

Provide services as needed for residents to include: 

  • Drive van and bus to provide individual and group transportation for residents and to provide personal shopping service
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • No prior experience or training necessary, but preferred. On-the-job training provided.
  • Unsurpassed customer service attitude
  • Safe driving record and ability to drive a passenger van and bus utilizing maps and directions
  • Basic emergency training such as CPR, First Aide or similar is beneficial
  • Ability to apply simple mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret information.
  • Ability to effectively respond to questions and communicate with co-workers.
  • While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands & fingers, handle or feel objects,
