Applications Support Senior Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Support Senior Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.

Duties:
Provide user support for financial software applications and ensure stability of Private banking and wealth management systems, tools, and applications. Provide data driven solutions for website performance, enhance IT operations and improve predictive issue identification with Site reliability Engineering methodology. Utilize Access Matrix and Hardware Security Module software for multifactor authentication and cybersecurity of software applications. Use functional and technical application knowledge and skills to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and resolve or devise workarounds for user facing and batch issues that the help desk and level 1 teams are unable to resolve. Setup, configure, and create domains for applications with Middleware tools such as Websphere and Weblogic web application servers. Assist user inquiries on data and provide complex queries to business users using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Microsoft SQL. Work on software code release deployments and technical/business checkouts, execute required production controls for disaster recovery plans while keeping alerts and monitoring current and effective for franchise critical applications. Communicate complex technical issues to business users, collaborate with cross functional stakeholders and use Papyrus software for document and data analysis and integration with IT infrastructure. Complete end-to-end application setup and configuration of infrastructure from inception to go-live. Assist with website onboarding for financial domain, regulatory projects, and upgrade software as per market standards. Leverage knowledge on handling application data, information security practices, understanding of associated risks and processes for such integrations. Partner with development and Citi infrastructure teams for mobile performance engineering initiatives. Implement application monitoring solutions and monitoring tools to proactively monitor application's health and business transactions. Create programs to automate manual touch points, scheduling batches, setting up critical application and environment monitoring using ITRS, Unix/Linux Shell scripting, uDeploy, and AppDynamics. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as an Applications Support Analyst, Systems Support Analyst, Technology Analyst or related position involving coding and data analytics in banking services domain. 5 years of experience must include: Access Matrix, & Hardware Security Module to configure application security by providing secure Administration, Authentication, Authorization; Papyrus software for document and data analysis and integration with IT infrastructure; Middleware administration for Web servers to setup application domains and integrate with services; Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL to extract data, review user issues and create reports; Unix Shell scripting and Python programming for automating complex manual deployment and monitoring tasks; and Geneos ITRS, IBM Urban Code Deploy, and AppDynamics to configure proactive application monitoring setup, self-healing infrastructure and Performance dashboards. At least 4 years of experience must include: Site Reliability Engineering methodologies to enhance Website Performance and predictive issue identification.
