Responsibilities

 

🔧 Keep the Community Running at Its Best

Lead the maintenance and upkeep of the community by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, building interiors and exteriors, and other essential property components. Your expertise will help ensure residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained home.

📋 Build and Maintain Excellence

Help establish the foundation for a successful lease-up community by managing service requests, scheduling apartment turns, maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, coordinating contractors, and implementing preventative maintenance programs. You'll play a key role in ensuring operations remain efficient, organized, and resident-focused.

👷 Lead a High-Performing Team

Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise maintenance staff while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and exceptional service. Your leadership will help set the tone for operational excellence throughout the community.

🤝 Make an Impact Every Day

Partner with office staff, residents, prospective residents, and vendors to provide outstanding customer service and timely solutions. Your professionalism and communication skills will contribute to creating a positive community experience for everyone.

Qualifications

 

✅ What You'll Bring to the Team

We're looking for a hands-on leader who takes pride in delivering exceptional property maintenance and creating a first-class resident experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of apartment maintenance experience required
  • Valid HVAC Certification (Type I & II or Universal) required
  • Experience leading and developing maintenance teams
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to respond to on-call emergencies
  • Ability to provide and maintain personal basic maintenance tools
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general building maintenance
  • Strong computer literacy and basic technology skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent custo
