About the role

As our Transportation and Logistics intern you will work closely with the Logistics Manager to process claims and RA’s (return authorizations) while communicating directly with freight companies on issues.
Here is want we what you to do:
- Observe and understand how to find more cost-effective shipping rates and efficiencies
- Work on damages; look to causes and cures within our control
- Process claims on shipments that have been lost or damaged
- Process RA’s for items being returned from customers
- Various other projects and assignments as support is needed.
Education & Experience
- Currently seeking a degree in logistics or a related field.
- Microsoft Office experience a plus.
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
This role is in person at our Middlebury, IN facilities
Hourly rate of $25/per hour
The internship is 10 weeks from June 3rd - August 9th
