Job Description Summary

Global Technology Services (GTS) is Aegon's global IT partner that provides infrastructure services, information security and global/corporate application support for Aegon's businesses around the world.

From 6 locations in the US, the Netherlands, UK, and Hungary, we support 20+ country units and 24000+ employees in the world. Our support consists of a wide range of centralized global IT services such as programming, database management, project management, agile/devops, and more.

Assist Transamerica’s technology teams to deploy GTS’ security strategy. Oversee a team of 6-8 employees to deploy enhanced security controls and to ensure existing controls are both fully deployed and operating as designed. Role has responsibility of our overall defensive posture across all security disciplines.

Job Description

What You Will Do:

• Participate as security expert in the overall software development lifecycle, SDLC including representing the team on Architecture Review Board (ARB), Change Advisory Board (CAB). Act as a gatekeeper to ensure GTS’ security requirements are in place prior to any changes go into production.
• Assist with project management for the deployment of new security controls for higher risk applications. Identify and remove blockers, be they technical, budgetary, prioritization or other
• Lead individuals who are reviewing and approving access exceptions consistent with GTS standards.
• Act as security subject matter expert across the organization, but with special focus on vulnerability management, identity & access management, privileged account management and network segmentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, auditing, or equivalent work experience
• 6-8 years of security experience with increasing level of responsibility, ideally in insurance, financial services, or other heavily regulated industry
