Registered Nurse PIMC

We are seeking a full time RN for our Pediatric Specialty Care Unit. Day/Night Rotation.

Come work with a team that cares for the patient and the team members! Our 22-bed Pediatric Specialty Care Unit (formerly known as PIMC unit) cares for intermediate level patients specializing in renal diagnosis and high flow. Nurses will also care for medical/surgical patients with all diagnoses requiring step-down care. Nurse ratios are 3:1 for IMC status patients and 4:1 for floor status patients. 

Schedule: Full Time D/N Rotation

Candidates are eligible to receive up to $20,000 as a competitive sign on bonus. Those relocating from more than 50 miles away will also receive relocation assistance. 

Requirements:

• Minimum of one-year Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
• Education – BSN from an accredited school of nursing. 
  If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN)- must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
• Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
• Proficient computer skills
