Job Description

Responsibilities

·       Conduct, and/or assist in conducting, reviews of assigned organizational and functional activities.

·       Plan the purpose, scope, and approach of internal audits.

·       Evaluate the internal controls within the system and confer with the Internal Audit Manager to address deficiencies which might require a change in the scope or approach of the audit.

·       Participates in audit meetings to discuss findings with management and related action plans.

·       Conducts interviews with applicable personnel for auditing purposes.

·       Prepares draft audit findings to management and drafts preliminary audit reports.

·       Prepare the formal written report on the results of the audit, expressing opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of internal controls and the extent of compliance.

·       Conduct the exit conference with the appropriate management personnel.

·       Perform post-audit follow up to ensure that appropriate action is taken on reported audit findings.

·       Other related projects and/or duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field.

·       Minimum of three years’ experience in audit, casino operations, compliance, or gaming regulatory environment.

·       Ability to obtain a gaming license in multiple jurisdictions is required

·       Skill in operating various word-processing, spreadsheets, and database software programs in a Windows environment.

·       Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing.

·       Ability to interpret applicable federal, state, county and local laws, regulations, and requirements.

·       Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds.

·       Ability to maintain confidentiality.

·       Ability to analyze situations and adopt appropriate courses of action.

·       Ability to travel as needed to the Studio to conduct audit activities.
