The Client Coordination Team within the Paying and Receiving Department acts as the customer service liaison between the Bank and Second District Depository Institutions regarding FedCash Services. We also have operational responsibilities for the offsite programs which include the Extended Custodial Inventory (ECI) Program, Custodial Inventory (CI) Program, Puerto Rico Cash Depot and Coin Terminals.

The Bank believes in work flexibility to balance the demands of work and life while also connecting and collaborating with our colleagues in person. Employees can expect to be in the office a couple of days per week as needed for meetings and team collaboration and should live within a commutable distance.

What we do:   

Responsible for the development and delivery of services and products to their respective clients. Areas of responsibility include delivering high-quality client and account services; providing securities custody, funds transfer, and other support services; receiving, processing, and distributing new and previously circulated currency; providing lending and collateral services; planning and executing open market operations; clearing and settling financial transactions; evaluating and promoting the overall safety and soundness of the supervised institutions. 

Your role as Client Relationship Coordinator: 

  • Provide daily operational support and customer service for international and domestic account holders and offsite programs.
  • Support the Paying and Receiving operation to ensure all currency and coin deposits received are compliant with Operating Circular No. 2 and the Cash Services Manual of Procedures.  Follow up and resolve all deposit discrepancies with DIs.          
  • Participate in operational reviews to ensure compliance with Manual of Procedures for our offsite customers (ECIs, CIs, Puerto Rico Cash Depot and Coin Terminals).
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the provisions of FedCash Services and daily monitoring of offsite programs.  
  • Extract data from databases and provide data analytics in narrative and visual reporting.
  • Support ongoing continuous improvement efforts within the department.

What we are looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and approximately 2-4 years of experience in a customer-focused operations role including resolving customer issues and inquiries.
  • Background conducting business process, policy, and compliance reviews.
  • Proven qualitative and quantitative analysis skills, including the ability to access data, analyze reports, and provide concise and insightful analysis.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including ability to manage multiple assignments and ability to meet tight deadlines both independently and within a team environment.
  • Experience working on group projects in collaboration with internal and external partners;
  • Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 4 trips total a year). 

Salary Range: $70000 - $90000 / year
