Online Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LCPC) - ID

Position Highlights

• Independent contractor (1099) position with flexible hours (MAKE YOUR OWN SCHEDULE!)

• Minimum of 6 hours of availability per week required

• ID Board License (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or LCPC)

• Idaho Medicaid ID Number required

• Paneled with Optum preferred, not required

• Experience with children required

• Virtual, work-from home position

• Sessions typically range from 30 to 60 minute sessions

• Fee per service between $40-$75 per service

About the role

As a therapist, you facilitate online therapy to children with mental health and behavioral needs. This is an opportunity to positively impact lives while working from home in a collaborative environment. What you'll do

• Provide high-quality online counseling services to children.

• Provide services with kindness, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude.

• Development, monitor, and report on goals; determine needs, design interventions utilizing research-based best practices.

• Provide clear clinical documentation in our platform that supports progress towards their goals.

• Participate in meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Social Worker (LCSW or LCPC) licensure where residing and where performing teletherapy services. We are providing services in Idaho.

• Computer proficiency, solid typing skills.

• Reliable wi-fi/internet access and a distraction free work environment.

• Teletherapy experience preferred.

• Two years of experience working as an Online Mental Health Counselor preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Excellent Technology & Computer proficiency, including the ability to learn new digital platforms.

• Reliable Wi-Fi/Internet access.

• Distraction-free work environment. 

• Flexibility and adaptability in day-to-day operations.
