Role Description

Form Energy is hiring a Senior Staff Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to help manage the development of our Iron-Air battery products. This role reports into our Senior Manager of EPM within the Engineering organization. As part of our EPM team, you will contribute to product development programs driving the advancement of our utility-scale stationary storage products. You will partner with our Systems Engineering team, and collaborate with multiple Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams as well as other program managers across Form Energy. What you'll do:

  • Drive product development programs to milestones while managing and communicating schedules across multiple teams to ensure efficient alignment, coordination and execution of Form’s highly cross-functional goals

  • Contribute to program management systems and structures based on best-practices and your personal experience, to effectively integrate with and support Form Energy’s world-class technical team

  • Contribute to and execute on Form’s Product Development Process (PDP)

  • Collaborate with Engineering leadership to construct and maintain product development plans, schedules and trackers consistent with Form’s PDP

  • Proactively identify and frame key program-level decisions, risks, and work with stakeholders to develop decision-quality options; facilitate progress by ensuring appropriate organization, resourcing, and prioritization of key effort

  • Assess and mitigate program risks based on development activities across electrical, controls, mechanical, and chemical subsystems

What you'll bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in an engineering or technical Program Management role

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, such as mechanical or electrical engineering

  • Demonstrated experience in product development, including commercial product launches (e.g. full product lifecycle program experience from concept through New Product Introduction, to product launch)

  • Technical experience with electro-mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have utility-scale renewable projects/products experience and knowledge of power systems.  

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to communicate & present at all levels

  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

  • Desire and willingness filling gaps at all levels
