Veterinary Technician

NHVO is a referral practice located in Spring, TX. At NHVO we understand the bond between clients and their pets. We have a board-certified specialist and a staff that share the goal of providing the most advanced and affordable eye care possible.
We are looking for:

Requirements:
- Must be well-spoken
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to stand, stoop, or bend for long periods of time
- Must maintain a professional appearance
- Must be able to clearly communicate with clients, doctors, and staff
- Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Must maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Must be able to perform venipuncture
- Must be familiar with specimen collecting for lab submission
- Must be able to handle and restrain animals
- Must have experience in anesthetic induction, maintenance, and monitoring
- Must have at least 2 years veterinary technician experience
- Must be able to place I.V. catheters efficiently
- Must be familiar with veterinary terminology and anatomy
- Must be able to carry up to 40lbs unassisted
- Must be able to maintain accurate medical records, both written and electronically
Background and reference checks will be done on all candidates.
