Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN Schedule

• Every 3rd Weekend On-Call for Both Sauk Rapids & Becker Campuses
• Every 3rd Holiday

Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN Responsibilities

• Responsible for delegating, monitoring and delivering resident care
• Responsible for medication/treatment administration and documentation
• Receives and gives report on current resident status and changes in status
• Ensures accurate charting and documentation is completed on a daily basis
• Assists new nursing personnel to learn procedures, policies and concepts of care
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of emergency procedures and responds to emergencies

Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN Qualifications

• Have graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing
• Have current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Minnesota
• Must have a current Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) certification
• At least one (1) year of clinical experience preferred
• Must have a current, valid Driver’s License with no driving violations within the standards of Good Shepherd’s insurability programs
• Exhibit professional behavior and attitudes
• Demonstrate the ability to make appropriate professional judgments
• Possess good interpersonal communication skills
• Computer skills necessary
