As a Senior Business Advisor, you'll be delivering high-level financial and business insights to help shape the future of planning and infrastructure in NSW. Your focus will be on budgeting, forecasting, and providing detailed financial reports that support decision-making for various divisions. You'll work closely with senior executives to analyse transactions and highlight variances, ensuring that everyone stays on track with their financial goals.
Navigating a complex and ever-changing environment, you’ll will be required to handle urgent requests while building strong relationships with stakeholders. You'll also tackle new challenges, offering innovative solutions to improve processes and enhance financial performance. Your expertise will not only help guide the department's financial strategy but also contribute to broader business objectives that benefit the community we serve.

What you will bring to the role

What is an essential requirement:
- Relevant tertiary qualification and eligibility for membership of a recognised professional accounting body such as CPA Australia or Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
