Who will you be working with?

L&M Radiator, Inc. is a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor or MESABI cooling and heat transfer solutions that are custom-made for heavy equipment in the mining, oil, gas, construction, and heavy industrial industries. We are looking for an individual to join our warehouse team. The work schedule for this position is Monday – Friday 2pm-10pm.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for expediting orders to the shop and maintaining inventory control. We are looking for individuals of all skill levels and are willing to train. This role is vital in helping the flow of production to move as smoothly as possible by ensuring orders are received and accurately counted and recorded.

What do we want to know about you?

  • 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or GED with 1 year of work experience.
  • Driver’s License required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Forklift experience

What will your typical day look like?

  • Keep inventory control and documentation.
  • Keep the warehouse and parts cage clean and orderly.
  • Notify Quality Personnel of receivables.
  • Manually ensure accurate counts of shipments.
  • Coordinate with shipping clerk to expedite shipments.
  • Assist in other areas of production as needed if qualified.
  • Performs work in a safe manner and follows all safety guidelines and procedure.
  • Performs related work and other duties as required by supervisor.

What about the physical demands of the job?

  • Lift a minimum of 50lbs.
  • Stand on concrete for 8-10 hours.
  • Work in high heat conditions
  • Practice and maintain safe work conditions.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The hourly range for this role is between $21.00- $27.00.  The actual hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required for Entry Level:

  • Good organizer, thorough and detail orientated.
  • Use of hand tools.
  • Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and semi loads.
  • Work and communicate effectively with others
  • Understand and carry out simple oral and written instructions.
  • Knowledge and proficiency of math skills.
  • English communication, both verbal and written essential.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment written math test, physical, drug and background test.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Epicor, Ultimate software or similar ERP system.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing.

You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
