You will collaborate with teams across the firm, design, build, and optimize data pipelines that enable advanced analytics and business insights into our Institutional Securities business.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Deliver <b>data insights</b> and key <b>business metrics</b> in the form of tools and reports to COOs, Business Management. Projects include maintenance and development of new features.</li></ul><ul><li>Develop and maintain <b>data pipelines</b>, ETL processes, and data models to support business needs.</li><li>Optimize data workflows for <b>performance and reliability</b> in distributed environments.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement <b>scalable data solutions</b>.</li><li>Implement <b>data governance, security, and recovery mechanisms</b>.</li><li>Support <b>technical infrastructure</b> for data engineering solutions.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Education: CS or related education, knowledge of data structures, algorithms, OOP</li><li>5-8 years experience with data engineering and distributed computing</li><li>Experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) or cloud platforms (SnowFlake, AWS) is an advantage.</li><li>Experience in IT operations is an advantage.</li></ul><p></p><h3>#LI-hybrid #LI-NB1 BPDBA</h3><p></p><p><b>WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:</b><span> </span></p><p></p><p>We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
