As a Behavioral Technician at AdvisaCare, you’ll step into a rewarding role where you will implement impactful treatment plans and strategies guided by our skilled Board Certified Behavior Analysts. You’ll work closely with clients of all ages—children and adults—helping them thrive in a supportive environment tailored to their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized, one-on-one behavior therapy that promotes growth and development.
  • Implement tailored treatment plans and strategies designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client progress while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of caregivers, parents, and healthcare professionals to deliver seamless client care.
  • Uphold our ethical standards and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for clients to flourish.
  • Assess and observe client behavior, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting personalized interventions.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to continually enhance your skills in behavior analysis.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is essential; a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a bonus!
  • Experience working with individuals with special needs or behavioral challenges is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is a plus!
  • Must have or be willing to obtain certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within a specified timeframe.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build engaging relationships with clients, families, and professionals.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to ethical guidelines is crucial.
  • A flexible schedule, with availability for evenings and weekends, is important to meet client needs.
  • A compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients with diverse backgrounds is essential.
