Your Impact

Your role will focus on two programs within People Operations, our university R&D internship program management and our Justice Equity Diversity and Inclusion program. You will build each program end to end, facilitate delivery across all Global Talent Acquisition, use data and analytics to monitor trends, and partner with cross functional teams to create successful strategies and ensure delivery and execution of each program. You will also serve as the first point of contact for our broader company in each of these two spaces, helping to continuously improve each program year over year.

  • Ensure the organization is on pace to meet the year-end DEI recruitment goals, providing frequent status updates to all stakeholders and adjusting the programmatic roadmap.
  • Use strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends to identify opportunities, interventions, and initiatives for improvement. Develop and execute to plans to identify and drive productivity improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals.
  • Translate business goals into effective programming and recommend new approaches.
  • Partner, train and upskill peers to from larger talent acquisition teams to help drive inclusive recruiting practices in their daily operations.
  • University R&D intern program owner, influencing the early in career hiring strategy now and into the future, leveraging a task force of recruiters to execute our hiring strategies.

What You’ll Do 

Location: Scottsdale, Seattle, or Boston 
Reports to: Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Programs

  • End to end strategy development and execution of DE&I recruitment through the global talent acquisition team, building, monitoring, and adjusting core pillars of work from attracting diverse candidates through to engagement.
  • Champion diversity internally and externally by embedding diversity, equity and inclusion programming across all elements and experiences for our internal and external customers.
  • Manage, test, and scale strategies and activation to grow the top of our candidate funnel.
  • Inspect sourcing funnels and leverage data to optimize diverse representation at each stage of the recruiting process. 
  • Build and execute the Axon R&D University Intern Program, curating engagement, creating positive experiences for interns and leaders.
  • Develop and execute to plans to enable the team to deliver hiring goals.
  • Author concise documents communicating program goals, path of execution, and results to stakeholders.
  • Influence team priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions and a DEI lens.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years experience in leading DE&I initiatives and programs
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience and/or Recruiting/Talent space
  • Demonstrated experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Program Management Certification (PMP) or PRINCE 2 Certified

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 70,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 125,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 80,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 150,000 in the highest geographic market.
