As a Senior Manufacturing Solutions Consultant at Poka, you’ll leverage your deep manufacturing expertise to showcase how Poka delivers tangible value across factory operations. You’ll play a pivotal role in guiding prospects through their digital transformation journey while demonstrating how Poka supports operational excellence, enhances frontline collaboration, and drives measurable business outcomes. Your ability to align solutions to real-world manufacturing challenges, using lean principles such as waste elimination and standardized work, will be key to your success in this role.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Cultivating an in-depth comprehension of our customers' business operations and technical needs within the manufacturing sector, guiding them towards effective connected worker implementations.
- Establishing yourself as the "trusted advisor" by forming solid relationships, process flow recommendations, and building tailored value narratives by persona and industry to shape ROI-driven business cases.
- Configuring complex demo environments independently and developing advanced workflows that deliver clear value.
- Designing solution architecture frameworks that enhance enterprise-level solution selling, leveraging your manufacturing expertise to address industry-specific challenges and create tailored, impactful strategies.
- Identifying integration opportunities, escalating feasibility early, and supporting Account Executives (AEs) in creating timelines based on the value delivered by our Professional Services and Customer Success teams.
- Collaborating with Poka's Global Solutions Director and the Solutions Team, sharing manufacturing insights, and mentoring on demonstration customization.
- Mentoring Solutions Consultants, supporting onboarding, and coaching others on delivery, positioning, and influencing senior leadership.
- Supporting pipeline triage and coverage planning to maximize team impact.
- Leading in customer-facing events, especially those involving strategic discussions, by offering customized demonstrations that showcase the practical benefits of Poka.
- Integrating strategies with Poka's proactive selling model, enhancing the consultative selling approach focusing on manufacturing efficiencies and connected worker benefits.
- Creating reusable content, competitive responses, and internal tools, while flagging GTM improvements and gaps in positioning.
- Participating in Solutions Consultant training and certification processes to elevate team expertise.
- Applying knowledge of plant budget cycles, headcount constraints, and workforce trends to build credible and long-term solution strategies.
Your experience must include:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Solutions Consulting, with strong expertise in the manufacturing industry.
- Deep understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills, marked by creativity and curiosity, with a proven track record of engaging and influencing technical and non-technical audiences within the manufacturing sector, including executive-level stakeholders.
- Skilled in crafting and delivering customized product demonstrations that resonate with the specific needs of the manufacturing industry, including executive-level stakeholders.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.
- Fluency in English is a must. Bilingual in Spanish or French is considered an asset.
