Looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity where you can make a meaningful impact in patient care? Join our team as a Patient Access Representative and be the friendly face that creates a positive first impression for every patient, family member, and visitor who walks through our doors.

In this PRN role, you’ll support front-office operations, assist patients through the registration process, and help ensure a smooth, welcoming experience from start to finish.

What You’ll Do:

Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth


Answer phones, take messages, return calls, and document accurately in the EMR


Register patients and update demographic information as needed


Verify insurance coverage and obtain copies of insurance cards


Educate patients on procedure prep, insurance requirements, and billing processes


Communicate financial responsibilities and assist with required forms


Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances


Schedule patient appointments according to established procedures


Balance daily financial registers and post payments


Maintain confidentiality of all patient information


Perform general clerical and administrative duties


Ensure the reception area is prepared for each day


Assist with opening and securing the facility as needed

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Proficiency in MS Office
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
