Warehouse Supervisor - Wausau & Stevens Point

Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by overseeing delivery drivers and/or warehouse teammates in the completion of warehouse and delivery tasks, ensuring profitability of all warehouse operations. This is a floor position and will involve physical movement of product and operation of equipment, along with supervisory duties.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for all facets of delivery vehicles, warehouse, and equipment, including maintenance, which may involve cleanliness of grounds and building, general building maintenance, and/or contracting out work as needed.
• Utilize internal software for creating route manifests and processing orders.
• Hold team accountable to Werner quality standards and implement improvements as needed.
• Develop external customer relationships to validate delivery plans and address any concerns.
• Coordinate product returns between Delivery Drivers and RGA/Returns department.
• Provide Customer Experience and Sales teams with new customer data, keeping current account and delivery requirements up to date.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts for accuracy of stock levels and compliance with standard procedures.
• Hold team accountable to established OSHA guidelines and Werner Safety policies.
• Drive delivery truck to assist with route coverage as needed.
• May assist with Counter Sales coverage by providing products, information, services, or assisting with loading customer vehicles.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work M-F, early hours
• Minimum 2 years related leadership experience or related supervisory, management, or leadership training
• Maintain valid driver’s license with clean driving record for past 3 years
• Ability to learn and use MS Office and internal systems
• Professional written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
