The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, high caliber Senior Planner to work in our Electro-Physiology (EP) Global Supply Planning organization in our Plymouth MN location. Under limited supervision, develops, maintains and communicates manufacturing build and logistical plans for assigned products. Works cross-functionally with purchasing, production, engineering, quality, distribution, and other teams as necessary to resolve product issues. Manages manufacturing and logistics plans to achieve product availability and line fill rate goals, key performance indicators.

What You'll Work On:
Address short term availability or inventory issues in addition to longer term supply-demand imbalances, both as part of the monthly S&OP process and daily exception management.
Work with Supply and Distribution partners to resolve any issues that arise.
Generates reports of moderate complexity and performs data analysis to proactively revise plans or resolve issues.
Develops and provides a detailed plan for finished goods and subassemblies which supports the top level approved build plans, assuring quantity and mix are clearly communicated to manufacturing.
Identify slow moving stock and define and initiate actions to remove and prevent recreation of slow-moving stock
Reviews forecast data, back order reports, including early warning signs, to prioritize and expedite manufacturing jobs to prevent or clear back orders.
Reviews and updates material master data on regular basis to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Manages safety stock levels.
Manage Finished Goods Inventory strategy based on Customer and Business requirements, driving continuous improvement to inventory and service through an understanding of the end to end supply chain.
Respond to customer inquiries and expedites fast and effectively
Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Business or equivalent experience preferred.
5 years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing schedule planning
