RN, Registered Nurse
Outpatient Cardiovascular, OPCV, Baptist Health Floyd
Part Time, Days
No weekends, No major holidays, No on call!
Where You'll Be:
OPCV is a 17-bed unit specializing in the care of pre and post cardiac/vascular patients having heart catheterizations, electrophysiology studies with catheter/pulmonary vein ablations, pulmonary embolism thrombectomies, device implantations, left atrial appendage device placements, patent foramen ovale closures, mitral valve clips, aortic valvuloplasties, aortic iliac femoral angiographies and fistulagrams. OPCV nurses also assist in the following procedures within the department: cardioversions, transesophageal echocardiograms, tilt table studies and loop recorder implantations.
What You Need:
BLS for Healthcare Providers (Required, will provide training)
Graduate of approved nursing program
Current Indiana RN License
ACLS certification (Within 6 months of hire, will provide training)
One-year previous Critical Care, PACU, OPS, Cath Lab, or Pre/Post Cath Unit experience
Proficiency in Cardiac Rhythm Recognition
