About the role

Description

CIFC Health, a project of Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc., seeks a part-time RN three days a week. The RN in collaboration with the Department Chief works directly with clinicians, within the scope of RN licensure, to facilitate quality patient communication and care, and efficient patient flow.




Requirements

1. Performs clinical assessments of patients in an ongoing and systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychological & cognitive status.

2. Implements care in knowledgeable, skillful, consistent and continuous manner.

3. Establishes priorities of patients care based on essential patient needs and available resources.

4. Evaluates effectiveness of care given and patient progression toward desired outcomes.

5. Identifies patient’s/significant other’s learning needs and implements appropriate measures to meet them.

6. Coordinates interdisciplinary functions.

7. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.

8. Performs other related duties as assigned.


Successful candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, BA in Nursing, hold an active RN License issued by the State of CT, and two years of appropriate medical office experience (or equivalent).
